2010 The BMW Z4 Gets Two Engine Options
It has a long bonnet, a much lower waistline, a rear wheel drive system, and two seats set close to the floor. And this is the 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster. And it has been said that this vehicle follows the unwritten rules of the roadster ethic because of its characteristics. It has a front axle aluminum spring strut configuration with a precise rank and pinion steering. Just made specifically for the 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster is the rear axle and this axle is very much able to withstand the forces that are applied by different things and factors that include the driver, the road, and the whole 368 pounds per foot of torque.
The BMW Z4, along with its Z3 predecessor, have been staples in the BMW roadster lineup for over a decade. With a firm suspension, rigid construction, and high-powered engine, the Z4 has been known to take any driver from zero to hero in no time flat. Utilizing the same inline-6 cylinder engine that's made the BMW 3 series the most popular mid-sized cars in the world, the Z4 commands the respect of any driver who knows the capabilities of the car. On the mountain roads, or just driving to the store, the Z4 shines with its true colors.

2011 BMW 335i Series Convertible
Exclusive, uncompromising, open - bring the sky within reach and have the wind at your side with the BMW 3 Series Convertible. Its powerful engines, discerning design and a retractable hardtop remind us that the boundary between form and function can be incredibly fine.

Headlight design, taillamp detailing, outside mirrors and interior appearance were created specifically for coupes. Two-doors feature a long wheelbase, short overhangs, a setback passenger compartment, and a low, sleek roofline. The long hood reflects BMW's tradition of inline six-cylinder engines. Corona light rings that serve as BMW-distinctive daytime running lights accent the standard xenon adaptive headlights.
Rear occupants in the four-passenger coupes have a center console between individual seats with separate storage boxes, additional air outlet vents, and footwell lights. Standard leatherette upholstery comes in Black or Cream Beige, with leather optional. BMW's iDrive controller is an option, too. One helpful feature is the seatbelt feeder arm, which automatically moves forward, presenting the seatbelt to the driver and front passenger when doors are closed and the key inserted. Access to rear seats has been made easier, according to BMW, but it's still a chore for the less agile.
There's nothing the least bit gaudy or garish about a 3 Series coupe, which relies strictly upon clean lines and smooth curves to establish its presence. Performance is precisely as energetic as expected from BMW. The twin-turbo engine has all the go-power anyone will need, available in an instant. In typical BMW form, the manual gearbox shifts with ease and finesse, requiring a mere flick of the wrist. Adeptly matched to the gearbox, BMW's clutch engages with smooth confidence.

The BMW HP-2 Sport (twin Boxer motor)
The HP-2 Sport is based on the R1200S but is out and out designed for sports riders who are looking for a machine that has performance as well as endurance.
The HP2 Sport keeps some of the concepts that BMW motorcycles have become known for such as the BMW Motorrad Telelever front suspension and the EVO Paralever rear suspension. Other components have been newly developed or highly modified for use in the motorcycle.
The HP-2 Sport is powered by a twin Boxer motor that has a capacity of 1170 cc. The engine's cylinder heads were completely redesigned which allows the engine to rev as high as 9500 rpm. The engine has a 101 mm bore and a 73 mm stroke and produces a maximum of 130 hp at 8,750 rpm and 85 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The bike has a close ratio six speed gear box, with first and second gear having higher ratios. This puts the gear increments closer to each other and results in less of a rev drop when progressing up through the gears.
The bike also has a gear shift assistant which allows the rider to shift gears without using the clutch. It works by sensing when the gear lever is activated. If it senses gear lever activation without the use of the clutch, it electronically reduces power to the engine which puts the engine in a low load state and makes it possible to shift without the clutch. If the rider uses the clutch, the system becomes inactive.

BMW IMME 1200-Auto Concept Intermot Motorcycle
A slick trick of the BMW IMME 1200 concept bike is that all the parts needed to be road legal, license plates, lights, mirrors can be removed with the engine start key and then the machine becomes ‘track ready’
The IMME 1200 concept motorbike was the creation of two French design students of the ISD (International School of Design). The IMME 1200 concept motorbike gained the interest of BMW who helped in the creation of a prototype for the 2006 Intermot Motorcycle Show in Cologne to go on show at the BMW stand. The IMME 1200 is based around the BMW R1200 engine. The name IMME comes from a now extinct German motorcycle maker.

2011 The New BMW Performance Kit Boosts
BMWs accept a awfully abutting ride and the archetypal we tested, acknowledgment to the M Sport abeyance was no different. On bland anchorage the 1 Series is ablaze but go over a acceleration bang and you feel it. If it comes to corners it’s absurd for a convertible with abreast non-existent bodyroll and no brazier agitate if the roof is down.

The archetypal we activated had a 2-litre agent engine which develops 204bhp and 295lb/ft of affairs power. And wow, this is a absurd engine which helps advance the Convertible from 0-62mph in 7.5 abnormal and on to a top acceleration of 143mph. There is so abundant torque that the 1 Series is effortless at overtaking. The six-speed gearbox is glossy and the clamp able-bodied weighted.
However, at low speeds it does still accord a aroma of a tractor sound.
There absolutely is something for anybody actuality with engines alignment from a 1.8-litre petrol which will advance from 0-62mph in 9.3 abnormal and hit 130mph and the range-topping 135i M Sport. The latter, address of a 302bhp engine will advance from 0-62mph in 5.6 abnormal and hit a bound top acceleration of 155mph.

All New 2012 BMW 6-Series
the abject 640i Convertible is motivated by a an absolute alternative of a 3.0-liter inline-six with TwinPower turbocharging, as able-bodied as absolute bang and valvtronic absolutely capricious valve control, acceptable for the above 320 aiguille horsepower. For those gluttonous the balance of a V8, the 650i cures that appetite with a 4.4-liter V8 rated at 407 application and 443 lb-ft of torque. The 1936 BMW snow machine

I found these photos before, but never could find the top one to make them a pair in a post, because in the top photo, you can't tell that there is a sidecar, and I didn't know it was a BMW

BMW for a Spin
An unnamed 20-year old man in a BMW (reportedly an SUV model) was arrested by police in Montreal on Saturday for driving 240 km/h or 150 mph on the A-720 highway in a 70 km/h or 44 mph speed zone. And here's where the story gets a bit more interesting as not only is this one of the worst cases of speeding in the country's history, but according to the police, the BMW did not belong to the young man. Some Canadian newspapers are even suggesting the man may have been a hotel valet that took the car for a late night spin on the highway.
The Montreal Gazette said local police "would neither confirm nor deny reports" he was a valet at a downtown Montreal hotel, and that he was taking out a guest's BMW for a joyride
Sgt. Guy Lapointe of the Quebec provincial police told The Star, "The only thing that I can tell you is that there have been no reports of a theft of the vehicle that was pulled over". CBC reported that the police said "the car has now been returned to its owner".
